Western Music & Cowboy Poetry
Sponsored by the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County
521 Kings Mountain Road
Woodside, CA 94062
Western Music and Cowboy Poetry is an annual event bringing
together folks who appreciate the heritage of the Old West. Some of the
best storytellers around recollect and recount and sing about cowboy stories. The
songs and stories performed are a saddle bag of old and new, the authentic and
the romantic, and the factual, fictional and humorous songs and stories that
helped build the legend of the Old West.
If you've ever dreamed of the days of
yesteryear when the cowboy was king, if you've ever pictured yourself thundering
across the plains on your favorite steed, if you've ever reminisced around a
campfire about the life of a cowboy...
If you know the words to "Home on the
Range", if you know who rode Trigger, if you watched the Cartwright's on
"Bonanza", or if you've heard about the Chisolm Trail...
Then you need to come
spend some time with us at our annual Western Music and Cowboy Poetry evening held at the Mounted
Patrol grounds in Woodside, CA.
