This event takes place every year at the same time. The Dinner and Dance is on July 3 and the Rodeo is on July 4. This is when upcoming cowboys and cowgirls - all under 18 - test their skills from bull riding to barrel racing, calf-roping to team penning and a number of other rodeo activities. Prelims start around 8:00AM with the main activity starting around noon with the presentation of the Colors. The pig scramble happens in the afternoon and the petting zoo, sponsored by Bill and Jean Lane, is open all day.
